Been steady value and food and service fir 40 years.

Fair hours till midnite, yet they hurry you up to go since 11+.. which isnt exactly what I call good business or customer satisfaction goal...otherwise fine

Food was good!

I would not return. The flavors were not authentic and the deep frying needed help.

This place deserves "0" stars and should be shut down. My family and I got food poisoning from this place. Their food taste preheated and nasty especially their honey chicken it is not fresh, wonton soup forget it, I took a bite of the wonton and it tasted like I bit into something that was cooked in vinegar.. NASTY!! . I'm going to see how I can get someone to inspect this place. They're getting people sick with their food .

The best fried rice!

Canton used to be a family favorite. The past few visits it was just mediocre.

I had a delivery due take from restaurant to customer via doordash delivery. I had a pleasant experience

Canton is a very well established Chinese restaurant. They also have sushi from Sushi Maki. I had a salad topped with salmon sashimi. The salad was fresh, as well as the salmon. Service is quick enough and the prices are reasonable, so this is a great spot for lunch.

I had not eaten at a Canton restaurant in a while. Ordered chicken chow mein with ribs and fried rice. Unfortunately ribs tasted old and greasy. The rice was stale and insipidious. Only good thing was the vegetables which were only celery and onions. My friend's duck was over fried and greasy. We were both truly disappointed. Place needs to be cleaned, brighter. Do not recommend.

Service was great!!! Food was excellent!! Portions were huge!! Restaurant was clean and inviting! We loved it!! FYI- We ordered cream cheese wonton appetizer, then we ordered Peppers steak and chicken almond ding special- each brought choice of soup, ribs and eggroll. Both plates were fresh and delicious! We’ll be back for sure!! 😋

Always nice and good food. The Mgr. Teddy is a pleasure to deal with.

First time there, and we thought the food was fine. We ordered spring rolls (a bit on the greasy side, but tasty) veggie mu shu (yummy), and Han siu tofu, which we loved and highly recommend if you like tofu. Our waitress was friendly, prompt, and attentive. Will gladly go again.

Horrible experience here! Waiter could barely speak English and would just small and nod, knowingly he didn't understand. There was a putrid smell in the Air, food was burnt.

So far So good! I just moved to the neighborhood and I’m addicted to the wonton soup and special fried rice, can’t wait to try the rest of the menu....looking forward to it

This is a disgusting restaurant. I have been going there for years and I've seen it go down hill. Today I went in to try some sushi and I tasted a couple of pieces and returned the rest. It was horrible.Do not go there. Find somewhere else to go. I give it one star just because i don't think it's the employees fault. They try hard. I think it's the owners. They just seem not to care!I will never go back there again.Don't waste your money.

I decided to make a quick stop and do a walk in and pick up food at Canton since I haven't been there in a while. I had ordered the Roast Pork and Bean Sprouts with Pork Fried Rice, an Egg Roll, and a Coca-Cola. It was delicious! Please check out this place when you're around the area of US-1. The food is great and the portions are huge at a reasonable price.

Food was delivered at different times. My food was cold, while my guest food was perfect. Heard great reviews but will no be going back.

In disbelief. First she never said your welcome after we thanked her (multiple times), Which already bothered me. We get the check and are constantly reminded to pay during conversation (place is not packed) Then I I give her 10$ more than the balance so I can get a whole bill. And she assumed it was her TIP. Like how do you assume your getting a ten dollar tip for a 15 dollar meal. Please do not go if you want decent customer service. P.s the food was bland.

If I could give this no stars then I would. Called at 5:30 no one came until it was 8:15. Food was cold. Along with that it was missing multiple things and contained things that were not ordered for us. Extremely disappointed.

The only thing I eat there is the Cantonese steak with vegetables and it is delicious. I cannot say much about the rest of the food because I only go there to eat the steak. It is a very large piece of meat and 2 people eat easily.

I hate that I'm writing this review, but I have to. I've basically eaten here since I was born (literally), and I have always loved Canton. I love the people and the restaurant, but in the past 3 years the quality has been slowly going down unfortunately. However, I was loyal. But I ordered some take-out today (05/08/20) and we found dead flies in our food. I hate to say it, but I won't be ordering again, especially after seeing other reviews that have said similar things. I hope their quality improves in the future.

I normally do not ever put a review on restaurnts. I am a huge fan of chinese food. But i ordered beef lo mein and by the second plate i ate i found a tiny cockroach mixed with the food. That is the most revolting, unsanitary thing ever. Seriously need to better watch what gets put in the food.

Not really great food at all and got sick afterwards :( A hole in the wall shopping plaza one by like a Walmart / Publix is much better than this... Shoot, even food court Chinese and that says a lot. I do not recommend.

Love the family steak and veggies, as well as chicken almond ding. They have combo lunches reasonably priced.The staff pleasant and attentive. They serve hot tea at no extra charge. Also has wide range of sushi choices. Open late most nights till 11pm. Easy for takeout. 2nd location in Coral Gables still open.

The worst Chinese restaurant I eat ever. Anything what we got wasn't eatable: tasty, unfresh food from heaters. And service muuuch below average.Think twice before you go there!

I ordered sweet and sour pork. It was awful. It smelled a lot like the animal. It was not cleaned properly or worse maybe it was old meat.

Service was great. Food came out EXTREMELY fast. We had a great experience.

My mistake by not taking a photo of the big cockroach that was served in my plate guys I wanted to throw up and I just walk away fats thanks God I was just staring to eat please check your food before eating Not recommended will never go back again and if it happen to me could happen to you as well. The worst experience ever.

I will never eat at this restaurant again after the most disgusting experience yesterday with dead bugs in my chow mein! The waitress was apologetic and did not let us pay for either meal, but I will never go back.

OMG.. I have called them for delivery are leave kind of far now I'm done they still deliver for me even though that I don't live close to them I called the one in Coral Gables and they said we don't go over there and I'm like 2 miles away from them... thank you so much for making the effort to come all the way to coral gables.. the food it was extraordinary fresh very fresh

So I had a California rolls soup and pork fried rice with honey chicken. I was only able to eat the California roll and some of my soup. by the time I finished. I was not feeling well. I have had food poisoning since yesterday that I left this place. Never

Been going here since 80’s in college. Now we travel from Palm Beach to Canton. This is the best out of all their other locations by far. Recommend: Special Wonton Soup for 2, Honey Garlic Chicken, Steak Kew (for sure). All entrees feed at least 2 but really a couple dishes will feed 4. Great value and same staff (owners) there for years. Yeah they are older, but they are endearing and have us and most of my friends going back whenever in town. Best Chinese around.

Was very disappointed with a shrimp chop suey that I've ordered for a take out. The vegetables were old with some rotten edges

Miami, where Chinese restaurants go to die. (it’ll catch on) Yet Canton Gables is always so professional, consistent and efficient, that you can’t say it’s a poor Chinese restaurant. It is proudly good and hardworking, and we value that in my tribe. The vegetables are generally fresh, and so this is a mother’s helper, a local staple, a down-home Chinese diner. All this in Miami, where vegetables go to die.
